Interesting Kickstarter Statistics

I was independently tracking Alexz’s Kickstarter campaign on my own with just a pen and a small notepad through all 60 days of the campaign. I was only tracking the dollar amount and Backers on as close to a 24 hour cycle as I could get. For this reason it won’t be 100% accurate as having Kickstarter’s own analytics, for example.

Average Backer Pledge: $71.50

Days With Most Backers Gained:
Day 1: +358
Day 2: +82
Day 59: +57
Day 3: +55
Day 36: +43

Top 5 Packages:
1. $25 level (218)
2. $50 level (150)
3. $75 level (113)
4. $40 level (110)
5. $10 level (109)

Total Phone Calls: 111
Total Skipping Stone Vinyl Records: 120
Total Signed Hard Copies of Skipping Stone: 700
Total Twitter @Mentions: 112
Total Postcards: 41

It’s worth noting that though Alexz’s total Pledge money went up and down she NEVER lost Backers. Only two days, Day 33 and Day 41, she gained 0 Backers, but never lost any. After the initial peak of the launch of the campaign, after day 5 basically, her two biggest gains of Backers in a 24 hour period happened on her 2 Stage-It shows, which I’m sure is a surprise to no one. They both appear above in the top 5 as the Final day and Day 36.

If you are curious about any specific stats just ask. I may or may not be able to do them given how simple my tracking is, but I’ll try.

One final thing. If you chose to use or repost these statistics please link back here. I took 60 days to do this 🙂
